Ventrata is excited to announce we are recruiting for a passionate Sales Development Representative to drive new opportunities in Lisabon. Our product is changing the way tours and tickets are sold across the planet.

This new role will be integral to our growth trajectory. If you're excited about working in a fast-growth scale-up environment on cutting-edge products that can remove friction and maximize revenue opportunities in the leisure and tourism industries, then this is the role for you.

The role is based remotely or in our Lisbon office. To be considered for a remote position the expectation is that you are ideally based in or maintain office hours in line with the target region.


About Ventrata

Founded in late 2016, Ventrata aims to be the Google of the travel industry the SaaS solution everyone relies on. We provide technology in all channels with a one-stop-shop ticketing, management and operational solution for attractions, tours and activity suppliers.

Despite the challenging environment, Ventrata continues to grow in double digits. During the global pandemic, many attractions have restructured and upgraded their technology. For Ventrata, this has driven a growth rate of 6x from $80m in ticket sales in 2019 to more than $900m in 2022.

Ventrata has been profitable since 2018 and holds substantial private backing. There have been two successful rounds of funding prior to the coronavirus. No funding has been required to maintain operations through the period. Our team is based in Czechia, the UK, Ireland, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Croatia, Nigeria, and the US.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal candidate will be a objective-focused sales development hero who is looking for a fresh challenge. You will be enthusiastic, engaging and with high attention to detail. You will need to keep up with the fast pace of development and thrive in a scale-up environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver qualified opportunities to the Sales Team that fit our target market;
  • Working with your designated Sales Manager to develop and execute a territory action plan, developing a strong understanding of the market and competitive environment
  • Research amp; reach out to targeted prospects via telephone and email to qualify leads using a specified scoring system;
  • Navigate through a conversation flow to uncover business needs, understand pain points, and deliver Ventrata’s value position that clearly demonstrates how we create value for our clients;
  • Work with the sales and marketing teams to coordinate marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness and drive inbound leads;
  • Generate marketing qualified leads that are processed as new opportunities and sent to the sales team in the CRM system (Hubspot);
  • Maintain and update an accurate log of activity in the CRM;


Requirements

  • strong English (Strong C1 as a minimum) and fluent Spanish;
  • At least 1-2 years sales experience, with experience in a SaaS and/or ticketing a plus
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal and the ability to build a genuine rapport with prospects;
  • Disciplined and process-driven, whilst maintaining resourceful in finding new approaches to ensure the message is resonating with potential customers;
  • Ability to problem solve and identify process efficiencies and improvements;
  • Intrinsically motivated and highly resilient you see a NO as an opportunity to grow and learn;
  • Familiarity or ability to quickly learn sales and marketing systems and tools.
