Job Title: QA Lead (Long-Term Contractor with Potential for Full-Time Conversion)

Job Description: Divelement, an IT consultancy specializing in webapps and mobile apps development, is seeking a highly skilled QA Lead to join our team. This is a long-term contractor role with the potential to transition into a full-time position with all associated benefits after an initial 3-4 month contract period.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the quality assurance process for our projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products.
- Collaborate closely with the development team to understand project requirements and provide input on testability, test coverage, and overall software quality.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for manual testing.
- Perform functional, regression, and system-level testing to identify defects and ensure the stability and reliability of applications.
- Identify areas for test automation and contribute to the development of automated test scripts.
- Conduct thorough bug tracking, defect reporting, and issue resolution.
- Mentor and guide junior QA team members, providing support and training as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in manual testing, including creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Familiarity with web and mobile app development technologies such as JavaScript, React, Next.js, Node.js, and TypeScript.
- Ability to perform both functional and non-functional testing.
- Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
