Job Description

As an HR Intern, you will gain valuable hands-on experience and contribute to various human resources functions within the organization. You will support the HR team in executing day-to-day tasks and projects, ensuring the smooth functioning of HR operations. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for aspiring HR professionals to learn about the fundamental aspects of human resources management and gain insights into the organization's workforce dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Assist in posting job vacancies on job boards and company career websites.
    • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings for potential candidates.
    • Coordinate and schedule interviews with candidates and interview panels.
    • Prepare new hire orientation materials and support the onboarding process.
  2. Employee Relations:
    • Collaborate with the HR team to address employee inquiries and concerns.
    • Assist in conducting employee satisfaction surveys and analyze feedback.
    • Support the implementation of employee engagement initiatives and events.
  3. HR Administration:
    • Maintain and update employee records in the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
    • Assist with HR documentation, such as offer letters, contracts, and termination paperwork.
    • Help with data entry, filing, and organizing HR-related files
  4. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Assist in gathering data for compensation surveys.
    • Help maintain and update employee benefits information.
  5. Special Projects:
    • Contribute to HR-related projects as assigned by the HR Manager.
    • Conduct research and analysis related to HR trends and best practices.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of HR principles and practices is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive and willing to take on new challenges and responsibilities.
  • A positive attitude and eagerness to learn and contribute to the HR team.
