Divelement Web Services, a development agency based in Austin, TX, and Monterrey, MX, is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Data Scientist to join its dynamic team. Divelement's mission is to create digital solutions using the latest technology, and the Senior Data Scientist position is a key part of achieving this goal. The ideal candidate will have passion, expertise, and an entrepreneurial spirit to lead projects in data science and machine learning.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and design effective data-driven solutions
• Develop and implement advanced algorithms and predictive models to solve complex problems in the IT industry
• Apply statistical analysis and data visualization techniques to communicate insights and findings to various stakeholders
• Build, test, and refine machine learning models that optimize business performance and improve user experiences
• Analyze large and complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations
• Mentor and supervise junior data scientists in the development of their skills and expertise
• Contribute to the company’s culture and community through knowledge sharing and continuous learning.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in data science, with a focus on machine learning
• Proven track record of successfully building and deploying statistical models in production environments
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, and SQL
• Knowledge of cloud-based data analytics platforms such as AWS and Azure
• Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively present complex data analyses to non-technical audiences.

Benefits

This is a contractor position, paid hourly with the option of becoming a employee after 3 months fully on the payroll with benefits.
