WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce. The company is seeking to bolster its staff with qualified talent in Turkey.
This is a remote Contract/Consultant position. Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern Time (March - November hours will be 4:00pm-1:00am; November - March hours will be 5:00pm-2:00am Istanbul time), Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements. The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language. Resumes must be submitted in English. Resumes provided in Turkish will not be reviewed.
Job Description:
Our rapid growth has created an excellent career opportunity in our Loan Operations Department. The Loan Operations Analyst has an opportunity to work with accomplished, respected management and to utilize your skills and experience as part of a high-performing team. This person will work internal loan pipeline management efforts in all aspects of the loan process. The main objective is to ensure loans are moved expeditiously through the pipeline, conduct internal process verifications, identify and address potential issues and cultivate collaborative working relationships with internal and remote sales team.
Responsibilites:
- Review all loans in the pipeline and update statuses in Quickbase (internal database)
- Act as a liaison between the different Operations sub departments (Valuation, Title, ICR and Underwriting) to provide updates and follow ups.
- Work with IT department to design Pipeline reports to track Loan Activity, Valuation Activity, Stips Activity, and deadlines
- Complete/Create checklists to verify information and improve internal efficiencies
- Work on KPI Assignments and Analysis
- Provide administrative support as assigned
- Prepare activity reports for Managing Director, Head of Credit
- Other projects and duties as assigned
Requirements
- You MUST live in Turkey
- 3-7 years progressive experience in loan level workflow in a lending organization
- Loan/mortgage pipeline industry experience preferred
- 100% fluency in English, with exceptional English verbal and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (four year college or technical school) in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or a related field preferred
- Experience with Microsoft: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint required; Teams experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- You must have your own laptop or desktop to use (the company does not supply equipment)
