What’s your challenge?
As a JD Edwards Consultant at our Service Desk, you have the abilities and experience to learn all day-to-day tasks and activities and contribute to sustain the quality we provide with our Oracle related technical services for all our international customers. Furthermore you will:
- Use your communication skills to take on (complex) incidents and register tickets assuring the customers feels that Quistor will provide professional support in resolving incidents and executing changes.
- Act as a Single Point of Contact for our customers and consultants.
- Keep track of all activities to be performed and ensure that all planned and unplanned activities will be executed and reported correctly.
- Run Daily Health Checks, respond on Monitoring Alerts, execute documented Recurring Tasks.
- Pro-actively learn and increase your knowledge and skills in the team on many areas like OS, Middleware, ERP applications and Databases.
Requirements
What does it take to be successful?
- Skills in the technical area of Oracle products like JD Edwards. Including most elements in OS (MS / UN*X / IBM iSeries / Oracle DB / MS SQL DB / JDE CNC / WebLogic / Cloud).
- Have at least 1-5 years work experience being up to date with the latest IT technologies.
- Willing to work in shifts (Early / Day / Evening / Weekends)
- Experience in some programming languages (C++, Java, PHP, JD Edwards NER, Python, other) is a pre, not required.
- Basic knowledge of ITIL.
- Being able to report clear and precise, having attention to detail and organizing your work effectively.
- You are communicative and able to maintain good customer relationships.
- English: proficient or native is mandatory. Spanish nice to have
