Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Product Designer with proven experience leading design projects of wide scope, complexity and responsibility in creative vision, strategy and execution for our "Compra a Pagos" product.

Compra a Pagos is a loan product from Baubap that enables users to buy products that can serve as productive assets, offer digital financing options, extend the user's relationship with Baubap, diversify our loan portfolio, and provide clients the opportunity to buy durable goods through credit given by Baubap, which they might not be able to afford otherwise.

This year we have the mission of extending the product to the entire user base and ensuring that Compra a Pagos generates 30% of Baubap's revenue. For this task we need a Product Designer with a lost of creativity and agility who can transform the current state of the product into a modern and efficient purchasing experience at the top level of large e-commerce companies while creatively seeking solutions to expand supply and demand.

  • Streamline feedback loops and processes for efficient and inclusive collaboration, cultivating positive and productive relationships with direct collaborators and stakeholders, and acting as a steward of UX and design quality, driving excellence and fostering growth within the organization.
  • Design and ship high-quality product improvements. We want excellent both in the UX and in the final design.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, best practices, and emerging technologies. Share knowledge and insights with your team and other designers to drive continuous improvement.
  • Help deliver and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities

Day to day

  • Open collaboration, feedback, and critique are valued as we push each other to continuously improve.
  • Work closely with Product Manager, Engineering amp; Design System to ensure a high-quality implementation
  • Create, collaborate, and iterate on flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals
  • Design and ship high quality product improvements
  • Run experiments on how to increase adoption of our product
  • Develop amp; research hypotheses on what people need to convert and to be loyal clients
  • Proactively collaborate with other teams to untangle complex technical and user experience dependencies
  • Research to uncover hidden opportunities to expand the product offer
  • Tackling ambiguous problems and shaping them into clear goals
  • Embrace differences and disagreement to get shit done and move forward putting the persons experiences in first place.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Designer, with a strong showcase of your design skills and projects
  • Be resilient and resourceful in face of ambiguity and thrive on (rather than endure) change
  • Understanding of how things are builded (technology), business and sensibility for human experiences
  • Understanding of business metrics and how design decisions can impact these metrics.
  • Solid and updated experience with Figma and Material Design
  • You value high quality well crafted visual design, and care about the details
  • Are a strong systems thinker with experience driving execution for complex enterprise products
  • Understand the building constrains of what you design
  • Product driven mindset
  • Ownership: Be capable to take a project from start to end and make things happen.
