We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to join our team. Role and Responsibilities for this position will include but is not limited to:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end quality assurance process, spanning both manual and automated testing efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents, providing valuable feedback.
- Develop comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases, covering all aspects of software functionality.
- Estimate, prioritize, plan, and execute testing activities to ensure efficient and effective testing across different projects.
- Design, develop, and execute automated testing scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Identify, document, and track software defects, and conduct thorough regression testing upon resolution.
- Apply your deep understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and processes to improve testing strategies.
- Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, providing expertise and fostering their growth.
- Liaise with internal teams to understand system requirements and ensure seamless integration of QA activities.
- Monitor debugging process results and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.
- Analyze quality assurance metrics, such as defect densities and open defect counts, to drive continuous improvement.
- Stay updated with emerging testing tools and strategies to enhance testing efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance.
- Extensive experience in both manual and automated testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
- Proficiency in crafting clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify, document, and communicate complex issues effectively.
- Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting, enhancing data validation and testing processes.
Additional Considerations:
- Experience with performance and security testing is a significant advantage.
- Previous exposure to mentoring and guiding junior QA engineers is a plus.
- Prior exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Proficiency in English.
