As a Process Safety Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our industrial processes. You will work closely with project teams to identify and mitigate process safety risks, develop and implement policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Conduct or participate in process hazard analysis (PHA) studies, including HAZOP, What-If, and FMEA.
- Perform risk assessments and provide recommendations for process safety improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local and international process safety regulations and standards.
- Work with project teams to identify and evaluate process safety hazards.
- Participate in incident investigations and provide recommendations for prevention.
- Develop and deliver process safety training and awareness programs to project teams and employees.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in process safety engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of process safety regulations and standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA, API, etc.)
- Experience conducting process hazard analysis (PHA) studies.
- Experience teaching and leading junior engineers.
- Upper Intermediate English B2.
