Position Description:

We are looking for a full-time Remote Medical Scheduler to develop our client relationships from the first phone call. The medical scheduler will take ownership, facilitate all scheduling requests, and provide a superior client experience. The ideal candidate is a team player who is able to provide concierge-level service and be hyper-responsive to our client’s needs. This is a demanding and fast-paced position that requires you to hit the ground running every day. The right person would be able to see beyond their position and jump in to assist in other tasks.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating with medical providers and patients to schedule surgeries, procedures, and consultations
  • Answer phones (professional phone etiquette), take detailed messages, and redirect calls appropriately)
  • Advising all parties of current case status and treatment updates.
  • Preparing client forms and contracts for review and execution.
  • Keeping client files organized with all current contracts and case documents.
  • Working with medical facilities to obtain billing information for timely payment.
  • Monitoring and staying informed of all active and pending medical applications. Keeping applications moving continuously within our CRM
  • Assist other members of the team with various tasks as they arise.
  • multi-task and manage 80-120 cases at various stages of medical treatment
  • Ability to be professional and courteous with patients, doctors' offices, and coworkers alike by email and phone

Qualifications:

An ideal candidate is a person with a can-do attitude along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, performance-driven organization. They should have highly developed interpersonal skills and the ability to relate well to all personalities. Sales experience and the ability to build relationships with diverse personalities is a big plus.

  • Great attention to detail, excellent organizational and time management.
  • Punctual and reliable, able to work from Monday thru Friday from 8 AM to 6 PM PST
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, writing). High level of comfort and confidence on the telephone and the ability to communicate effectively through emails.
  • Strong computer, data entry, and reporting skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet)
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • Be discrete with patients’ health information
  • Experience in personal injury law is a plus but not required
  • Sales and marketing experience is a plus but not required.
  • Team player, eager to assist
  • You must speak fluent English (C1 Minimum) and Spanish.
  • You must have a reliable high-speed internet connection at your home.
  • You must have at least 1 year of Customer Service experience over the phone.
  • You must have a working computer system. Two computer monitors are a plus!
