In this role you would help support the America’s Order to Cash (O2C) team with the LATAM billing process and monthly Accounts Receivable activities, with potential for the role to expand to include additional responsibilities across all America regions. You will ensure the timely billing of our Mexico based customer accounts in accordance with the current processes and external requirements.
As the Accounts Receivable team is based in America, you will work closely and in partnership with our LATAM based Sales, AdOps teams along with other finance team members. This position will provide you with a deeper understanding of revenue recognition standards, navigation and usage of the Mexico government portal. Additionally, you will gain experience working closely across departments in our global company as well as external customers.
This role will report to our Senior Accountant and is a hybrid role based in our Mexico City office. We encourage all team members to have an in-office presence 2-3 days per week.What you will do:
- BILLING
- Obtain required customer documentation for Mexican customer invoicing
- Raise accurate and timely invoices
- Upload invoices to local customer portal and/or send electronically
- Maintain and update LATAM customers’ invoicing process doc
- Work with internal business partners and customers to resolve identified discrepancies
- COLLECTION
- Post cash receipts to Ogury Mexico customer accounts
- Prepare customer receipt invoices for payment application on Mexico accounts
- Upload and send customer receipt invoices in customer portals and/or via email
- Send AR Aging statements and follow up with customers regarding receipts
- Performs other ad-hoc duties as and when assigned
- MONTH END
- Reconcile between accounting software and Mexico government portal
- Ensure invoices are coded to correct location and accounts
What you will bring to Ogury:
- Prior experience and/or internship experience in Finance amp; Accounting
- Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with cross functional stakeholders
- Excellent communication, and presentation skills, ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities
- Comfortable with working in a fast paced, high pressure, quick turn-around based environment
- Strong technical aptitude and desire to learn across technical platforms
- Positive attitude, and ability to build strong working relationships with others

The salary for the Billing Specialist is: $10,000 - $16,500 (MXN) monthly, in addition to annual variable compensation.Benefits vary by location but you can expect:
