Job Description

Join GoGlobal as a Legal and Labor Specialist in the Americas, where you'll lead legal compliance efforts, manage labor relations, and drive policy development. As a key team member, you'll collaborate with stakeholders to review contracts, address employee matters, and mitigate legal risks. Roles amp; Responsibilities

  • Stay updated on federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations across the Americas.
  • Ensure company compliance with labor laws, data protection regulations, and other legal requirements.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various legal agreements, including employment contracts.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts meet legal and business requirements.
  • Manage employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with HR to address employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions.
  • Develop and implement labor and employment policies in accordance with local laws and company values.
  • Conduct training sessions to educate employees and managers on legal compliance and company policies.
  • Identify potential legal risks and provide proactive solutions to mitigate them.
  • Collaborate with external legal counsel when necessary.
  • Other ad hoc tasks as and when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in law.
  • Proven experience as a legal and labor specialist, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor and employment laws in the Americas.
  • Knowledge of EOR’s/HR’s service industry legal rules and guidelines will be advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
