Position Overview:

As an Account Executive for LATAM, you will play a pivotal role in driving trade sales performance and expanding the market presence of Abercrombie amp; Kent Travel Group in the Latin America region. Reporting to the Area Director of Sales, you will be responsible for onboarding new travel agencies, reactivating dormant accounts, identifying revenue opportunities, and collaborating with the Area Director of Sales to ensure the overall success of the LATAM region.

Responsibilities:

  1. Trade Sales Performance: Achieve and exceed targeted sales goals by proactively identifying potential clients, building strong relationships, and promoting the unique value proposition of Abercrombie amp; Kent Travel Group's brands.
  2. Onboarding Travel Agencies: Identify and approach prospective travel agencies to expand the distribution network across the LATAM region. See to execute strategic plans for successful agency onboarding and integration.
  3. Reactivating One and Done Accounts: Identify past clients who have engaged in only one transaction with Abercrombie amp; Kent Travel Group and devise strategies to reactivate and nurture these accounts, turning them into long-term partners.
  4. Revenue Opportunities: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new revenue streams and business opportunities. Collaborate with the marketing and product teams to develop innovative offerings that resonate with the LATAM market.
  5. Relationship Management: Cultivate strong, lasting relationships with existing travel agencies to enhance their loyalty to Abercrombie amp; Kent Travel Group's brands. Serve as a primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns, and support needs.
  6. Sales Support: Provide exceptional sales support, including product training, promotional materials, and educational resources to travel agencies, ensuring they have the tools necessary to sell effectively.
  7. Territory Analysis: Regularly analyze market trends, travel industry developments, and customer preferences in the region to identify potential growth areas and inform strategic decision-making.
  8. Reporting and Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities, account details, and performance metrics. Prepare regular reports and forecasts for the Area Director of Sales.
  9. Collaborative Teamwork: Work closely with the Area Director of Sales, marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align strategies, share insights, and drive overall company objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in travel industry sales, preferably in the luxury travel segment.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and building successful business relationships.
  • Familiarity with the LATAM travel market, including knowledge of key players, travel agency networks, and industry dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Spanish (additional languages are a plus).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be self-motivated while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
  • Willingness to travel within the LATAM region as required.
