The gig.Q4 is seeking an Implementation Specialist to manage the execution of complex website and projects from inception through to delivery. This project management focused work will include scope creation and scope-creep-management, client communications, resourcing, scheduling, and status reporting.
The Implementation Specialist we are looking for will join an established team with strong processes, but won’t be afraid to look for process improvements along the way. You will know how to utilize project management tools and skills and learn our standardized processes; but, be delivery-focused enough, to ensure the job gets done in any situation. Most of all, you appreciate the satisfaction that comes from consistently launching and delivering high-quality projects on time, and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage projects from initiation to delivery;
  • Develop, maintain and effectively execute a high volume of concurrent projects from planning through to implementation and deployment;
  • Understand and communicate client’s business needs to the relevant internal teams;
  • Alongside the project leadership, you will create and enforce project documents/ schedules, ensuring deadlines and launch dates are adhered to;
  • Communicate effectively both internally and externally to drive projects and manage expectations; and
  • Track, prioritize, manage and report project issues
Required Skillset
  • Minimum 1 year experience of managing projects (PM/PMO) in a SAAS environment;
  • Successful delivery of projects from start to finish;
  • Strong English comprehension and communication skills;
  • Experience of working directly with (b2b) clients;
  • Strong problem solving and decision-making ability;
  • Solid understanding of web and mobile technology;
  • Usability best practices;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy; and
  • Proven time management skills - able to handle conflicting priorities and juggle multiple projects.
Education and Learning
  • Digital/web experience a must;
  • Technical, Mobile Apps and Capital Markets experience are a nice to have;
  • Working knowledge of PC or Mac-based environments;
  • Proficiency in JIRA, Google Workspace and Salesforce
  • Undergraduate business degree or project management qualification would be considered beneficial.
