We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist with billing backgound who will play a crucial role in managing our Human Resources functions while also handling billing-related responsibilities.
Human Resources Responsibilities
1. Recruitment and Onboarding:
a. Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process, from job posting to interviewing and onboarding new hires, ensuring they align with company's mission to combat social isolation.
b. Manage onboarding processes to ensure new employees are fully integrated into the company culture and mission, including orientation sessions focused on the companys impact on reducing depression and loneliness.
2. Employee Engagement and Development:
a. Develop and implement employee engagement programs that reinforce the company’s mission and values, encouraging staff participation in initiatives that contribute to the community and user base.
b. Organize professional development opportunities, including training in virtual reality technology, to enhance team skills relevant to the companie objectives.
c. Ensure team compliance with training programs required for their role..
3. Performance Management:
a. Oversee the performance review process, providing feedback and support to ensure employees are meeting their goals and contributing to the mission of reducing social isolation.
b. Implement strategies for recognizing and rewarding outstanding contributions to the team and the broader community.
c. Coordinate with different departments as needed to address employee concerns, especially as it pertains to performance.
4. HR Administration:
a. Maintain accurate and confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
b. Handle HR inquiries, providing guidance on policies and procedures related to benefits, leave, and workplace accommodations.
c. Maintain commission reports, bonus reports, and respond to employee inquiries related to billing-based commission payments.
Billing Responsibilities
1. Billing and Invoice Management:
a. Manage the billing process, including the creation, sending, and tracking of invoices to clients such as senior living communities, hospitals, and hospices.
b. Ensure accuracy in billing for subscriptions and services, aligning with contractual agreements and usage.
c. Address client billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
2. Accounts Receivable:
a. Monitor accounts receivable to ensure timely payments, conducting follow-ups as needed to resolve any discrepancies or delays.
b. Assist in the development and implementation of billing policies and procedures including creating and updating invoices, inputting bills, monitoring the billing inbox and consistent accounts receivable follow-ups
c. Report on billing issues and trends, proposing solutions to improve the billing process and client satisfaction.
3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:
a. Assist in the preparation of financial reports related to HR and billing operations, analyzing trends that impact budgeting and financial planning, including within the context of raises.
b. Provide insights on cost-saving measures and efficiency improvements in HR processes and billing operations.
4. Compliance and Auditing:
a. Ensure billing practices comply with legal standards and company policies, preparing for audits related to billing and accounts receivable.
b. Stay updated on changes in billing regulations that may affect the company, implementing necessary adjustments to processes.
Requirements
Proven work experience as an HR
A passion for helping the aging community and caregivers
Strong preference for those with previous experience working in a startup or a similar fast-paced, highly motivated environment
Strong daily time management skills
Excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and comfortable working independently
Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Experience with Hubspot, Quickbooks and G Suite preferred but not required
Experience with the regulations and labor practices of HR in the United States preferred but not required.
