Freelance Linguist (Spanish to Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional)

1-StopAsia is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Freelance Linguists for Spanish to Chinese Simplified and Chinese Traditional translation projects. As a Freelance Linguist, you will be responsible for translating a variety of content, such as documents, websites, and marketing materials, from Spanish to Chinese Simplified or Chinese Traditional. This is a remote position that offers flexible working hours and the opportunity to collaborate with a global team of language professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Translate a wide range of content from Spanish to Chinese Simplified or Chinese Traditional
• Adhere to industry standards and linguistic guidelines to ensure high-quality translations
• Conduct terminology research and maintain a glossary for consistent translations
• Meet project deadlines and deliver translations in a timely manner
• Collaborate with project managers and other linguists for project-related discussions

Requirements

• Fluency in Spanish and Chinese (Simplified and/or Traditional)
• Proven experience and expertise in Spanish to Chinese translation
• Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency in translations
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Proficient computer skills and knowledge of translation tools/software
• Good communication and collaboration skills
