About the role:
Specifically, we are looking for a proven people and project manager to lead our Passenger Growth team located in Mexico City. The Rides Growth team is a national, cross-functional team responsible for the long-term growth of DiDi’s passenger and driver base in Mexico. National in scope, the Growth team drives projects across product operations, marketing, and operations that result in a better experience for our new users. This role is ideal for someone looking to own a full strategic focus of the business, help set the company’s strategic vision for growth in Mexico, and manage a team of high-performing analysts to achieve significant results. This leader will be the primary driver of the growth in DiDi’s customer base, and more broadly our growth nationally.Your responsabilities
  • Our Passenger Growth lead is responsible for developing and executing DiDi’s passenger acquisition strategy across Mexico. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
  • Owning the vision for passenger acquisition: Develop a winning strategy to grow DiDi’s passenger base in Mexico. Fully own the company’s expertise on passenger acquisition and lend that perspective to the broader vision of DiDi Mexico. Provide thought partnership as needed to other countries in the region.
  • Translate that strategy into results: Manage a team that owns DiDi’s main acquisition channels including communications, incentives, and referral programs.
  • Managing multi-functional projects: Manage projects with complex, multi-functional scope that stretch across departments within the organization. Be a relentless advocate for the customer’s experience throughout the onboarding process and translate that perspective into initiatives across teams that touch paid marketing, product operations, safety, and communications.
  • Team development: Model a culture that prioritizes open feedback and structures development opportunities for a team of high-performing analysts and interns.
