The Head of Content is one of the senior most leaders of the company and will work closely with the CEO and leadership team to drive future-oriented plans and the company vision.
Specifically, the HoC will be expected to:
- Set the strategic vision and direction for the company's academic curriculum, instructional framework, pedagogical approach, assessment methodology and content production.
- Develop a deep, analytical understanding of macro trends as well as our learner’s preferences and behaviour and use it to develop a comprehensive content strategy and roadmap. Develop strategies and mechanisms to drive engagement, completion and NPS. Pilot and test content with customers. Integrate frameworks to assess learning outcomes/achievements. Evaluate ROI of pursuing different forms of accreditation.
- Create a strong process and project management approach to significantly scale up quality and quantum of content, and manage the different stages of the product life cycle, across existing and new offerings.
- Deliver courses and educational programs to budget and agreed time tables by recruiting and managing in-house and freelance teams of subject matter experts, instructional designers and syllabus developers, audio visual professional (pre production, production, post production), copywriters and graphic designers. Expect to manage over 100 resources based in Mexico City where our production set is located.
- Provide strong leadership to teams through intelligent, clear, and inspirational communication and a hands-on, passionate approach. Champion adoption of cutting-edge technologies and stay at the leading edge of content.
