Job Description

We are looking for a Sailpoint QA analyst to assess software quality through manual and automated testing. You will be responsible for finding and reporting bugs and glitches. In this role, you should have a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Ultimately, you will ensure that our products, applications, and systems work correctly.

Responsibilities

  • Review and analyze system specifications
  • Develop effective strategies and test plans
  • Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results
  • Evaluate product code according to specifications
  • Create logs to document testing phases and defects
  • Report bugs and errors to development teams
  • Help troubleshoot issues
  • Conduct post-release/ post-implementation testing
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Actively involved in code reviews, discussions and infrastructure reviews, interacted with internal project teams and managers.
  • Participates in all SailPoint deployment activities - connector configuration, custom rule development, workflow configuration and development, third party system integration.
  • Design and implementation of Users database access provisioning, de-provisioning and password reset management using Sailpoint Identity IQ. Created and ran the aggregation task to bulk load authoritative source data from Active Directory, Exchange and LDAP
  • Developed a creation rule to run update, terminate and rehire transactions on specified Employee and Contractor user accounts based on the feed file data Configuration of Roles, Policies and Certifications for governance compliance.
  • Build and Configure SailPoint in-built tasks like aggregation, ID refresh, schedule tasks, correlation, etc.
  • Worked from technical specifications to independently develop test scenarios to test and verify Identity and Access management solution. Tested custom configuration of SailPoint IdentityIQ and out of box Workflows as per the business needs.
  • Responsible for writing test cases, documenting bugs, and communicating with Development to get them fixed.
  • Researched and analyzed the software requirements, workflows and designs to define detailed test suites, test cases, test data and procedures.
  • Integrated web service based applications to authenticate and authorize users based on their access and data in SailPoint IIQ.
  • Created Manual and Automated test cases according to the business standards in ALM and Excel.
  • Performed extensive functional, integration, security, UI testing and Regression Testing.
  • Developed Service Now Custom Connector with SailPoint which tracks the ticketing system in Service Now and returning ticket status to SailPoint.
  • Executed test cases manually and maintained, re-tested failed test cases after bug fixes.
  • Created complex manual testing test cases from approved requirement and design documents and traced them to the relevant use cases.
  • Reported and entered defects and issues in Jira.
  • Customizing and branding of SailPoint solution.
  • Use Confluence to document the test steps and procedures.
  • Performed Manual and Functional testing to test the functionality of the application and modules.
  • Performed Mobile Testing on supported Devices.
  • Involved in the development of design and security documentation for SailPoint IIQ components.
  • Validated test to check boundary conditions and error messages.
  • Analyze data to identify areas for improvement in the quality system.
  • Implement REST classes using SailPoint Rest Application.
  • Manually performed functional, GUI, regression testing, User Acceptance testing, and End-to- End testing.
  • Used Splunk to retrieve data’s and logs.
  • Responsible for documenting work for quick references Guide utilizing MS WORD.


Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
  • Experience in project management and QA methodology
  • Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
  • Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
  • Working knowledge of test management software (e.g. qTest, Zephyr) and SQL
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
  • Strong organizational skills
