The team:

The position of the Marketing Manager - Mexico is based in Mexico City in our new offices in the Chapultepec Uno tower in the Cuauhtémoc neighborhood. This role reports to both the Director, Marketing Americas and the Director of Sales in Mexico.

The Marketing Manager is a key position in our ongoing expansion into Mexico. This role demands a high level of engagement with the regional security market and a strong awareness of marketing, messaging, event, digital advertising, and public relations best practices.

Fully aligned with the territorial business structure and the Corporate Marketing team, the Marketing Manager - Mexico is a key contributor to demand generation and brand building in the country. In addition to organizing, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and events to generate new prospects and repeat purchases for the regional sales team, this role is also responsible for tracking market trends and emerging competition in the region.

What your day will look like:

Demand Generation amp; Program Management

  • Develop and manage regional demand generation marketing programs that will drive channel and end user engagement, quarterly and annual revenues, and align closely with the goals of the regional sales leadership
  • Convert corporate programs into local/regional campaign architectures including campaign tactics, and channels such as web seminars, face-to-face seminars, tradeshows, tabletops, executive-level roundtables, highly targeted appointment-setting programs, customer-facing events, etc
  • Execute online and offline marketing initiatives, integrating online and new media, email, print, direct mail, social media, company websites, SEM/SEO strategy development, brand awareness and drip marketing initiatives
  • Track regional marketing budget, designing offers and calls to action, and setting program goals and measurement criteria

Public Relations amp; Media Relations

  • Develop and implement a regional PR/media relations plan that helps to strengthen the profile of Genetec in the region as well as reinforce key corporate PR/media relations goals
  • Onboarding and management of territorial PR agencies and freelancers
  • Develop close trust-based relationships with key trade media, business journalists and editors as well as influential blogs, analysts, and thought leaders in your region
  • Establish social media best practices and communication plan for the region in coordination with corporate social media plans
  • Ensure specific regional concerns such as language, tone, and relevance are emphasized in all outbound materials

Partner Marketing

  • With Regional Sales and Product Marketing determine the specific goals and engagement for technology/marketing partners in the region while ensuring alignment with Corporate and Product Marketing strategy
  • Develop targeted messaging and communication tailored to the needs of each partner
  • Track regional success of partner activities (lead generations, opportunities created, deals closed, etc.)

Campaign Measurement and Follow-Up

  • Track progress against regional goals, identify issues and recommend how to improve local effort and corporate programs

Marketing Liaison for the Field

  • Serve as key resource/go-to person for marketing-related activities for Sales team
  • Gather feedback from sales team and share with corporate marketing and product marketing
  • Ensure communication of corporate programs to the field in an ongoing clear, concise, and consistent manner
  • Key marketing business partner for sales leadership

Staff amp; Vendor Management

  • Manage all local vendor contracts and relationships related to marketing program production and execution
  • Manage all regional marketing team members

  • Strong vendor and agency management skills
  • Willing to dig into tactics/execution of the plan as well as work with sales and marketing leadership to formulate strategy in alignment with business goals
  • Impeccable written and oral Spanish
  • Functional/professional English
