Unravel is looking for Big Data and SQL experts to develop APM solutions for Big Data. He/ she should be able to work as an independent contributor as well as a Technical Lead. About the Role- Lead and participate in architecture, design and development of various components of Unravel Data’s APM solutions.
- Build automated troubleshooting and tuning solutions for SQL onBig Data platforms like Hive,Tez, LLAP,SparkSQL, Impala, Presto, Amazon Redshift
- Build automated optimization solutions for SQL workloads on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
About You- BS/CS, MS/CS or PhD in CS
- 5+ Yrs of development experience in SQL and related fields
- Hands-on experience with Relational Databases and distributed systems
- Strong experience in SQL processing on relational databases
- Strong experience in SQL query optimizers and query tuning
- Expert in programming with Java or Scala
- Previous experience as an architect building large scale platforms i.e. data processing systems, analytics platforms, recommendation engines, etc. is a plus
- Knowledge of AWS, Azure and cloud architecture is a plus
- Strong analytical and design skills
- Excellent communication and ability to inspire othersAbility to set and manage priorities judiciously
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Exceptionally self-motivated and directed
- Keen attention to detail
- Superior analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities
