- Reporting directly to the Country Manager and working directly with HQ finance team, you’ll be accountable for accurate reconciliations, financial reporting, financial controls on payables and receivables and technical accounting support. Improving our accounts payable , monitoring the day to day operations, to ensure the new markets become a sustainable and profitable business with the best possible customer experience.Your job scope will cover:
- Building and improving controls for accounts payable
- Reconciliation of account payables in the country, working closely with vendor managers to reconcile and prepare reports for their vendors
- Preparing payments list each week making sure everything gets paid
- Analyze the differences and do the reconciliation together with our external accountants
- Attend the main complaints and ticket resolutions, from HQ and the country manager
- Inventory, purchases and sales month-end reports
About You
- This is a great opportunity to grow your career by rolling up your sleeves and building a business from scratch. We know that sounds ambitious, therefore the minimum requirements to handle the challenge are as follows:
- Proven 2-5 years work experience preferably in finance, accounting, finance services, or payments
- Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Economy or Engineering
- Great plus if you have experience in one of the BIG 4 accounting firms
- Plus is knowledge and experience with Microsoft AX
- Great attention to details and self-sufficiency
- Strong sense of inquiry and search
- Fluent in written and Spoken English
- Basic IT Skills (databases, MS Office, etc.)
- Advanced Excel knowledge
