We are looking for an experienced UX/UI designer with a knack for perfectionism and a quality-driven mentality to join our team. You'll contribute alongside our development leads located in Guadalajara, Mexico to create a logistics and inventory platform centered on productivity, user-friendliness, and reliability. What you'll do here:
- Maintain and evolve general Brand Guidelines
- Collaborate and support our UX Team in creating a revolutionary logistics product
- Provide correct UX documentation to our Frontend amp; Mobile projects
- Understand current established UX guidelines to help create future interfaces
- Maintain and update our UX and UI Documentation for future consolidation/publishing
- Communicate (in English) daily with other team members across North America
- Communicate frequently with your team to explain design decisions, present user workflows, and have a strong understanding of user needs.
- Validate your design hypothesis and solutions via interviews and usability tests
Requirements
- Previous experience in UX design methodologies; you should be able to demonstrate applicable design methodologies
- Previous experience in Brand and Graphic design
- Robust English; able to communicate ideas freely between stakeholders located in multiple parts of the US and Mexico
- A degree in design or UI/UX, or related certifications, is preferred
- Knowledge of contemporary topics such as user flows, journeys, user personas, UI kits, and an understanding of how to apply them
- Previous experience in creating seamless continuity of established design guidelines
- Working familiarity with mainstream design tools such as AdobeXD, Sketch, and Miro. Legacy experience with tools such as Photoshop/Illustrator is welcome but not required
- Must be located in the Guadalajara, Jalisco area (we are mostly remote but will visit the office a few times)
- Team Player: be comfortable joining an existing team with defined workflows and processes
- Demonstrable portfolio of projects (we will ask for your best work)
