Multiplica Talent is looking for you! We are a human resources consultancy specializing in digital talent.
We are looking for a skilled backend software engineer looking to propel his/her career while also helping
to take the tech team to the next level.
We're looking for passion, flexibility, leadership, top technical skills, with 2 to 5 years of experience
developing internet products mainly in backend apps and systems.
Our engineering process helps us create the magic, so we take it seriously. We run agile sprints and ship
code in production every week.
The core of our website is a cloud-based infrastructure using AWS and Node.js. Our frontend services are
built using React and Next.js mainly. In the backend we use Python (with Flask and Django, depending on
the service) and also Typescript (on top of Node.js). Right now, we are migrating from a monolithic
architecture to a distributed microservices architecture and we expect you to lead this process, from
design to deployment.
We are always looking for improvement and new technologies that can simplify our lives, so an important
pan of this position will be to review those technical choices and own the future of our tech stack.
Requirements
Technical skills we are looking for :
- Strong backend engineering skills, including security, scalability and data engineering
- Experience architecting for the cloud. We work on AWS, but any PaaS experience is sufficient
- Advanced knowledge of Python, Javascript (ES6) or Typescript with hands on experience on real
projects
- Good understanding of distributed systems, pub/sub patterns, asynchronous communication, queueing
systems, etc.
- Solid technical understanding of RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL APIs
- High level of experience working with data storage technologies, both SQL and NoSQL
- Passionate about writing clean, structured and maintainable code, always refactoring to improve the
quality of the code base
- Experience in code review, pair programming and mentoring junior developers
- Ability to containerize applications and automate deploy processes
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with container orchestration tools (K8n)
- Automated testing at different levels
- Deep knowledge of CI/CD tools
- You are a contributor of an open source project
- Experience integrating 3rd party systems such as CRMs / ERPs
