NETWORK TECHNICIAN MONITORING TEAM
JOB BRIEF
We are looking for basic to intermediate skilled Network Technicians to undertake tasks of network infrastructure support and maintenance. You will be responsible for monitoring network devices from multiple customers in the hospitality, transit and educative sector.
The ideal candidate will be competent individual with great passion for technology. An analytical mindset will be essential for effective troubleshooting and improving the network’s functions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Proactively monitor multiple network down/alarmed devices including routers, switches, firewalls, access points, servers and others.
- Performing from basic to intermediate troubleshooting to devices failures in the network, and identify possible threats.
- Testing and configuring basic aspects in network devices
- Following up with customers in a daily basis, keeping a track by phone calls, emails and tickets.
Requirements
- High proficiency with English language verbal and written, being able to make phone calls every day to sites in the United States, Canada and Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Good communications skills
- Outstanding diagnostic, problem-solving and analytical skills
- Experience with Cisco, HP and Ruckus devices is a plus
- Hands-on experience with common software and hardware
- Follow up skills
- Ability to handle several cases at the same time
