We recently partnered with a leading healthcare company to launch Movimiento Salud 2030 - a collaborative network aimed to catalyze the generation of innovations and solutions at scale to positively impact major health challenges in Latin America.
Weβre looking for a full time Growth and Development Director to join the core team of Movimiento Salud 2030 and ensure the sustainability of the initiative globally with particular focus in Latin America and in coordination with other regions joining the movement. As a Growth and Development Director you will.
- Design and execute an annual partnership and funding strategy that ensures the long term sustainability of the organization
- Collaborate with the core team in defining partnership models that contribute to the financial sustainability of the initiative
- Develop strategies to maximize our partnerships and the value we create to generate new revenue streams
- Work in collaboration with our partners to identify and develop partnership proposals that include co-financing of solutions at a local level
- Search, apply and follow up on international and national funding opportunities for the execution of projects identifying the strategic fit
- Plan and execute fundraising campaigns, events, and meetings with local, regional and international donors aligned with the Movimiento mission
- Organize and conduct meetings on behalf of Executive Director with corporations, philanthropic organisations, intergubernamental entities, donors, key stakeholders, and the Advisory Board in order to strengthen our network and identify growth opportunities
- Manage our database and follow up on leads, from cold contacts to closed deals with support of a CRM system
- Aid with management of regular communications with Movimiento's diverse mix of corporate, government, philanthropic organizations and IGOs in order to support the annual growth plan
- Develop collaterals and activities to engage new donors and investors
Requirements
- You are hands-on, autonomous, flexible and love building positive relationships with different stakeholders
- You are a team player while also being great at leading others, you are able to influence others with your vision and passion
- You are a fast learner and feel comfortable embracing big challenges
- You are excited about joining a new collaborative movement like Movimiento Salud 2030 and working in a small team at start-up speed
- You have experience with building partnerships
- You have a proven record in raising funds and sponsoring and feel comfortable with targets
- You have excellent communication and relationship building skills
- You have experience with donor management databases and social media tools
- Previous experience in the life sciences industry or feeling comfortable with the topic is desirable
- Having venture building experience would be a plus
- You are fluent in written and spoken Spanish and English. An extensive local network in LATAM region and speaking Portuguese is definitely a plus!
