Job Description

TransferMate Global Payments is a Globally Regulated, B2B Payments technology, which greatly improves the international payments process for banks, companies and both our software and strategic partners, such as Wells Fargo, AIB and ING.


The role will be part of the Global Risk and Compliance Department providing support to the Americas Compliance Team. The Senior AML Analyst will be responsible of carrying out Customer due diligence and providing regulatory guidance to team members and Business, primarily in the Customer onboarding process.


  • Review the KYC documents during onboarding or renewal process and update the Customer profile in accordance with the Anti-Money Laundering Policy.
  • Using screening tools to assess the Customer applications, looking for negative news, sanction screening, political exposure.
  • Identifying any potential suspicious applications or Customer behaviour and escalating to management.
  • Providing regulatory guidance to team members and Business during the Customer onboarding process.
  • Training new and existing team members.
  • Provide support in the regulatory duties of the Americas Compliance Team.
  • Ensuring all information received is treated with highest confidentiality.
  • Professional and accurate communication and relation with other involved areas, such as Legal, Operations, and Business.

Assisting with adhoc tasks.

Requirements

  • English fluency in reading, writing and speaking required.
  • Good understanding of KYC procedure.
  • Strong knowledge regarding AML local regulation for the financial sector, desired AML regulation for overseas companies.
  • 3 to 5 years in the money transmitter/fintech/banking sector in compliance area, desired focus on corporate customers.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related.
  • Highly organized individual with excellent attention to details;
  • Pro-active team player with outstanding communication skills;
  • Excellent time management skills.
