Job Description
Zipdev is looking to add a Lead Application Engineer to its remote team that will help drive the development of a patented video rendering technology! In this role you will drive the development of our React Web App that communicates with our Golang backed API as well as messaging systems. Our web app is a primary touch-point for many of our customers and the API for the rest. You will ensure that both meet our performance and quality requirements.
You will show architectural leadership by growing our customer-facing capabilities. It is expected that you can take high-level architectural instructions, communicate those to the team, ensure that design goals are met, see that all necessary testing is included in development efforts, and facilitate the team moving as fast as possible by removing blockers.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of separation of concerns, be familiar with Clean Architecture, have recent experience with modern React using Hooks, and be familiar with common Message Queue messaging patterns. Idiomatic Go experience is a plus, however training on our use of Go will be provided.
Requirements
- 7-10 years professional Full-Stack Development
- Strong SQL and database knowledge
- Familiarity with common enterprise messaging patterns
- Extensive experience with test-driven development
- Experience with Golang building web apps a plus
- A React web app
