We are currently expanding and looking to add a motivated individual to our team based out of our head office in Monterrey, Mexico.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, manage and maintain all aspects of our IT Infrastructure including Server Hardware, Software, Business Applications, Infrastructure Services, End user computing, etc.
  • Provide Tier 2/3 support during core business hours, after-hours/weekend (on call) support for critical IT Systems
  • Build, deploy, configure, administer, and maintain the VMWare vSphere 5.x and 6.x farms. Monitor the health of the entire virtual infrastructure; proactively fix potential issues
  • Configure and maintain High Availability on the vSphere clusters. Maintain security across all farms; perform vulnerability patching. As well as perform capacity planning; upgrade host servers’ hardware or add more hosts when required
  • Maintain Servers and storage hardware in datacenter; rack the equipment, configure remote console, replace hardware
  • Participate in the daily operations, service and change request implementations, incident investigation and troubleshooting
  • Maintain Information security, premises integrity and access procedures as per company security policy. Produce necessary documentation, reports and explanations
  • To maintain, configure an troubleshoot LAN, WAN and wireless LAN connections in our locations
  • To maintain, configure and troubleshoot all camera and security access systems to meet company needs
  • To ensure maximum availability and uptime of all infrastructure services to meet company’s operational needs
  • To ensure backups are executed as per schedule and disaster recovery procedures are in place.
  • Contribute to providing high levels of measurable support by actively responding to and resolving service requests
  • Optimize and automate day to day operations of the IT Team
  • Contribute to Disaster Recovery planning and IT Infrastructure Documentation

  • A commitment to take responsibility and ownership of assigned tasks with minimal supervision

  • Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent experience
    • 3+ years hands-on experience in Systems Administrator/Consultant role in fast-moving, dynamic environment
    • 3+ years of experience in managing and maintaining a vCenter ESXi environment, maintain and monitor the health of virtual Infrastructure, proactively fix potential, ESXi cluster setup, manage highly critical workloads, vMotion, DRS, Host upgrade/maintenance tasks, Virtual Networking (Virtual Switches, VM Kernel Ports), Virtual Storage, VSAN (Access Control and VMFS Data stores), Snapshot manager and restoring a snapshot, networking - routing, subnets, UDP, TCP, IP and VLANs
    • 3+ years of experience on Windows Servers 2008/2012/2016, Web Servers (IIS 6.0 or higher), File Servers, Print Servers, FTP/sFTP, MS SQL Database Installation and configuration, OS security hardening
    • 1-2 years of experience with Storage solutions preference to HP StorageWorks/Dell/EMC, Knowledge of FC fabrics, Storage virtualization, SAN, iSCSI, NFS
    • 3+ Years of hands-on administration experience in O365 (MS Exchange Online), Mail User Recipient management, troubleshoot mail flow issues, Enabling/disabling mailbox features, In-place archiving, Message Records Management, Journaling, etc.
    • 3+ Years of extensive experience of Active Directory, security design, maintenance, and troubleshooting, privileges, modification of security groups, policies and addition/removal of users, administration with extensive group policy experience
    • Able to collect and automate data gathering on AD using MS tools such PowerShell and AD; use of Office/Excel to manipulate and extrapolate data
    • Daily operational maintenance of existing network, server, storage, security, and phone system infrastructures, setup and operations of hardware, including servers, clusters, and
