Overview
Club Feast is expanding rapidly and we are looking for a strong Business Operations Analyst to join us to reshape the food delivery business. In this role, you will be responsible for not just the day-to-day analytics and reporting to empower leadership’s decision-making but also working cross-functionally to identify the challenges and opportunities that our business is facing. The ideal candidate must be a data-driven, solution-driven and execution-oriented individual with a dedication for completing projects quickly and correctly. The Business Operations Analyst will report to the VP of Operations and Director of Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and create core reporting and analytics infrastructure while proactively surfacing opportunities
- Support new strategy, data analytics, and reporting processes that optimize day-to-day business planning and operations
- Analyze current business performance and build statistical models to extrapolate current and historical trends into forward-looking forecasts
- Drive process improvement and effectiveness including troubleshooting operational issues as they surface; propose changes to systems/process to fix root causes
- Create frameworks to help structure the team’s thinking, drive visibility, and facilitate alignment
- Analyze large datasets and partner with Business and Product teams to interpret findings and identify actionable insights and opportunities
- Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
Requirements
About You
- Proficient in English
- At least 2 - 3 years (ideally 3 - 5 years of experience) of experience in Business, Systems Analysis, Quality Assurance, Operations, Analytics, or Finance
- Self-starter with an analytical orientation; compassionate and leans in and embraces rolling up your sleeves with your team
- Ability to research and analyze large amounts of data using Excel, with great attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree (preferably in business, economics, other related fields)
- Experience working in a startup; excelled in fast-paced startup environment and are independent and adaptable
- Data and solution-driven
- Solid experience in writing SQL queries
- Basic knowledge in generating process documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Statistical/analytical experience
- Bias toward action and constant push for clarity and execution
- Experience in analysing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills
