Disclaimer: This role is remote and can be done from anywhere in Latin America, but most of the team is based in Mexico City.

Board of Innovation is an independently owned business design and innovation strategy firm with offices in Antwerp, Amsterdam, New York, and Singapore. Our business designers and innovation consultants help the world’s largest organizations navigate fundamental shifts. Over the past 10 years, Board of Innovation has worked with large corporates and Fortune 500s, both B2B and B2C, including Roche, AstraZeneca, General Electric, AB Inbev, Novartis, TD Bank, Adidas, ING, Thomson Reuters, and SOS Children's Villages to navigate transformational shifts.

We are scaling up our global project team for Movement Health 2030, which we co-founded together with Roche, Carlos Slim Foundation, and Copenhagen Institute for Future Studies. All countries and regions have their own systemic health challenges that are too big and complex to solve alone. Together with different stakeholders in the ecosystem, we co-create impactful and inclusive solutions at scale fostering healthier communities. You will be working fully dedicated to this project for the coming year(s).

In the role of an innovation consultant, you will be working closely together with our project lead for LATAM Andrea.

We don’t believe in forcing someone into a specific job function. Your role will be shaped based on your own interest and experience, as well as those of your team members. Everyone's role is expected to evolve continuously.

You will join a multi-disciplinary client-facing team that truly values an entrepreneurial mindset and encourages each team member to make their role their own. Consider the below job description a starting point for yours:

You manage a variety of strategic client projects

• You demonstrate and apply expert know-how and strategic consultancy, backed up by substantial and significant relevant prior experience
• You act as a credible Client Lead for a variety of large, complex, conceptual, and strategic programs with a focus on healthcare/life sciences
• You understand and translate client needs into effective solutions
• You maintain high standards for quality of work

You contribute to the sustainability of the MH2030

• You build long-term strategic client collaborations
• You manage the relationship with regional and local partners of the movement
  
  

You build expertise and share this with your colleagues (they will return the favor)

• Create differentiating content (cases, tools, frameworks)
• Consistently share expertise within the project, company and movement

What could a week look like?

• MONDAY: First you join the weekly standup with the rest of your team that calls in from different countries. Afterward, you research the healthcare ecosystem of a specific country and interview several local experts.
• TUESDAY: You visualize the healthcare ecosystem of that country representing the different stakeholders, value exchanges, and gaps/opportunities present.
• WEDNESDAY: You are facilitating a co-creation session with senior stakeholders of one of the pilot projects
• THURSDAY: You create a pitch deck to convince an NGO to join the project and follow up on other existing partnerships.
• FRIDAY: You design the local open innovation program that we'll launch soon to attract great entrepreneurs to the project.

Requirements

• You have experienced multiple cultures and working styles before. This is a global project!
• You have experience running complex innovation projects/programs.
• You feel comfortable navigating and facilitating various groups of stakeholders
• Designing and facilitating different strategy and innovation programs is what gets you excited
• You have experience in applying Design Thinking and/or Lean Startup principles in a project
