The Vehicle Program Engineer will join a growing team of Engineering and Health amp; Safety professionals helping our customers reduce their work-related risk to quality, productivity and employee health.
Abilities and Skills
- Strong knowledge on problem resolution techniques in the automotive industry (5Why's, 8D, PDCA, DMAIC, etc.)
- Organizational and planning skills
- Strong communication skills to interact with different level of members within the organization
- Teamwork, proactive, with sense of urgency amp; customer service attitude to drive customer satisfaction (internal amp; external)
- Working under pressure and time availability
- Strong Negotiation skills to drive timing targets
- The ability to report project status accurately and in timely fashion to manager level management
Tasks and Work Priorities
- Meet program deliverables on time and schedule
- Provides regular (daily, weekly, etc.) tracking status to the designated team leader
- Attend designated meetings to provide status reports
- Accomplish the department objectives addressed by the client using problem solving techniques
- Capture and register for all tryouts, runoffs, and quality impacts for the project implementations and engineering updates/upgrades
- Manager within master timing charts, with corrective actions, and recovery plans indentified where needed
Requirements
- B.S. in industrial engineering or similiar
- +1 Year's experience in manufacturing
- Automotive customer portals knowledge
- Experience in automotive industry company
- Advanced english, fluent written and technical speaking in english
