Job Description

Zipdev is looking to add an Account Manager to its remote team! As an Account Manager, you will ensure client needs are met through our services, consistently providing excellent customer service to your accounts. Client relationship-building will be a key part of this role to encourage both new and repeat business opportunities.

You’ll be primarily responsible for client satisfaction along with making sure ROI is achieved, maintained, and well-communicated. Additionally, you’ll also consult and engage in a number of roles related to marketing or customer support to best meet client needs. As regular communication with both internal team and external vendors is a daily part of this position, your ability to problem solve and work collaboratively is paramount.

Responsibilities
  • Client communication
    • Understanding and communicating company offerings [products, capabilities, and services] to clients
    • Resolving any conflicts as they arise
    • Ensuring ROI and compliant deliverables
    • Constructing clear reports, transparently demonstrating success or failure
    • Uncovering opportunities for account growth and new business
  • Marketing
    • Analyzing client marketing assets and strategy, utilizing best practices to recommend or implement improvements
    • Reviewing all major deliverables (content, reports) to ensure excellent quality and that client expectations are met
    • Ensuring projects are both completed well and profitable
  • Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
    • Articulately communicating client goals to internal team
    • Creating ease of communication between team members and the client, setting proper expectations, and accurately representing all parties
    • Working closely with vendors and production team to identify (and resolve) potential issues or opportunities within projects

Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional account management experience
  • Fluent Level of English (speaking and writing)
  • An entrepreneurial spirit
    • Desire to understand new businesses and industries
    • Eagerness to embrace new solutions (our tools and methods are constantly evolving)
    • Being self-motivated with a passion for learning
  • Ability to effectively communicate to clients, i.e.
    • Educating clients on value of services
    • Discussing technical topics and tactics needed to achieve success
    • Exploring and recommending opportunities to grow revenue
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work well within a matrix organizational structure and remote team


Bonus Points if You Have:
  • Familiarity with project management tools, i.e. Asana, Slack, Teams
  • Experience in advertising, marketing, or PR
  • Experience with Inbound Marketing, Google AdWords, and/or Analytics
