About the role

As a Jr. Visual Designer you will support initiatives from our Growth amp; Marketing team.

What you'll do

• Bring ideas to life with beautiful creativity, brainstorming, designing, execution, animation
• Collaborate cross-functionally to brainstorm, design, and storyboard new concepts optimized for performance
• Create digital assets for paid and organic media, including social media platforms and advertising channels
• Edit scalable and modular assets with different strategies, messagings, formats, across different promotion channels ensuring deliverables meet due dates and Sofia's high standards of quality
• Help maintain an organized library of design assets
• Meet multiple deadlines, prioritize work with your colleagues, and keep projects moving forward
• Generate ideas, inspire your teammates, give and receive constructive feedback, and critique respectfully

Requirements

You are a great fit for this role if you.

• Have 1 to 3 years of experience conceptualizing and executing creative assets (bonus points if you have work within a startup or tech company)
• Are an expert with Adobe Suite and have experience with Figma/Sketch to design amp; prototype digital assets
• Have a great understanding of digital formats and how to best approach them for organic and paid cross-channel promotion on Web, blog, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
• Have great attention to detail, and passionate about graphic design, illustration, typography, color, composition (bonus points if you have experience with motion graphics)
• Value being a team player with great written and oral communication skills who can clearly articulate visual concepts and can communicate effectively with a wide range of internal/external stakeholders
• Have a strong ability to multitask, organize, facilitate and collaborate within cross-functional teams
