-Shift Availability:
Morning shift: Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm (Alternate weekends)Requirements
- 1-3 years of trucking industry experience is an asset
- Diploma in business, transportation or related field; or the equivalent
- Able to plan and organize well as an individual and as a team player
- Possess high levels of energy and initiative; strong work ethic and ability to self-manage
- Must have strong communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage stress situations calmly and effectively
- Positive attitude with good interpersonal skills
- Fast learner
Responsibilities:
- Track and trace shipments
- Send tracking reports to customers
- Respond to customer emails and calls
- Timely communicate customers of any delays or problems with a solution
- Ensure documents are timely sent to customer or broker for customs purposes
- Program border crossings with transfers in Nuevo Laredo, TM and Laredo, TX
- Program cross docks in Charger Laredo, TX when needed
- Coordinate with US and Canadian dispatch coverage of Northbound and Southbound loads
- Coordinate with Brokerage coverage of Northbound and Southbound loads when dispatch can’t fulfill requests.
- Enter orders in Fleet Manager based on customer forecasts and requirements
- Create contracts for Mexico portion of the load
- Update internal system with accurate information of the order
- Upload documents to internal system
- Update EDI on timely manner based on customer’s requirements.
- Update customer portals when not supported by EDI
- Schedule pick-up and delivery appointments with shippers and receivers
- Ensure to communicate to coworkers follow up required for second shift and third shifts
- Validate with Mexican carriers the equipment meets all customer requirements to load
- Coordinate with Mexican carriers’ pick-ups and deliveries of shipments
- Create contracts for the Mexico portion of the order
- Update contracts through internal system
- Ensure to close contracts on a timely manner
