Job Description

We’re a fast-growing, VC-funded startup and we’re currently looking for an experienced Product professional to lead our mobile app strategy and development.

You’ll be part of a world-class Product Management team, and your goal will be to drive our product strategy forward, with a focus on our native app. To achieve this, you’ll interact with multiple teams and you’ll focus on researching, identifying and proposing new or improved feature opportunities in order to generate downloads and increase engagement, retention and satisfaction of our students.

You’ll report to our VP of Product Management amp; UX (C-level).

What you will be doing

  • Be responsible for the product strategy and roadmap of our mobile apps
  • Understand the role of our native apps in relation to our web platform in terms of value proposition and usage
  • Interact with internal teams and with our students in order to identify users’ needs and translate them into potential product initiatives
  • Work with our UX and Tech teams to build features that add value to our users and to our business
  • Ensure data collection and analysis
  • Prioritize and handle multiple requests for information
  • Generate reports and analyses in order to identify improvement opportunities
  • Identify customer usage patterns to improve journeys
  • Identify unmet customer needs through research, data analysis, and user experience analysis and testing

Requirements

Education

Marketing, Business, Economics, Engineering

Required Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in a B2C context
  • 5+ years of total work experience
  • Experience in edtech and/ or native mobile apps is a plus
  • Required Abilities
    • Ownership mindset so you can be responsible and accountable for all initiatives led by yourself
    • Data-driven approach to map all potential upsides and pitfalls
    • Experience collecting, storing and analyzing data regarding customer behavior
    • Ability to combine user's insights with business goals and strategy
    • Proven experience improving customer engagement and retention
    • Excellent written and spoken English amp; Spanish
    • Energetic and assertive character
    • Excellent teamwork skills
