Job Description

Human Resources Generalist - Mexico

ProducePay is a new tech-based cash flow solution that provides domestic and foreign fresh produce farmers (growers) who ship to the U.S. with immediate access to distribution and financing. ProducePay’s solutions provide the working capital for fresh-produce growers’ need to complete their harvest and grow.

By leveraging our international network, ProducePay connects clients with interested fresh produce buyers and distributors. Interested distributors receive connection to a growing list of international farmers who might otherwise feel limited by current financing options.

We are rapidly expanding and looking to hire a Human Resource Generalist that is fluent in English amp; Spanish.

You will act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from employees and external partners. Your main administrative duties include maintaining personnel records, managing HR documents (e.g. employment records and onboarding guides) and updating internal databases. Our ideal candidate has experience with HR procedures and can juggle various administrative tasks in a timely manner. This position will report into the Director of HR.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate employee onboarding
  • Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free (or progressive) workplace
  • Provide support and resolution to employees on various HR-related topics
  • Assist with the talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Collaborate with HR management to develop trainings
  • Administer compensation and benefit plans
  • Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Undertake tasks around performance management
  • Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
  • Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Maintain employee files and records in electronic form
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities
  • Remain accessible to employees and Managers, providing them with guidance as needed
  • Ensure compliance with Mexico’s labor laws

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. PeopleSoft) will be a plus
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Desire to work as a team with a results driven approach
  • BS/BA in Business administration or relevant field
  • Additional HR training will be a plus
