Job Description Summary

We are rapidly expanding and are looking for a Credit Risk Coordinator to efficiently support Underwriting team members, to work in conjunction with other departments as well as individually. The position requires strong skills in time management, multitasking, detail-oriented and analytical skills.

Responsibilities amp; Duties

  • Conduct reviews on deals underwriting requests, covering background checks and document review
  • Proactively manage the applicant pipeline while ensuring data accuracy and maintaining all underwriting quality standards
  • Document clear and concise notes in every application including all customer correspondence, exceptions to established guidelines and critical account information relating to the final underwriting decision
  • Assist in the refinement and streaming processes
  • Analyze Documents
  • Ensure the Due Diligence
  • Update Monday boards on Preferred Network processes for all parties on time information
  • Manage company data bases to do searches during the Due Diligence process

Requirements

  • BA/BS in Finance, Economics, Engineering, etc.
  • 1 year in a client centered supportive role or administrative function within a fintech or financial services organization
  • Proficiency with excel and basic formulas
  • A can-do attitude, strong problem-solving mindset, and strong organizational skills with an outstanding eye for detail and a high degree of accountability
  • Service-focused with superior time-management and communication skills.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (Speak, Read, Write)
  • Comfortable with analyzing legal language in contracts
  • Comfortable with analyzing financial statements
