About The Role:
Infrastructure Engineers follow a discipline that combines both software and systems engineering to build reliable, scalable, and performant systems. As a member of the Operations Team, you would be involved in every dimension of AppLovin’s production: from analyzing traffic anomalies and capacity planning, to automating elastic infrastructure.Requirements:
- You are experienced in Computer Science and have 2 - 6 years of relevant experience
- Solid understanding of data structure and algorithms in addition to development concepts
- Previous experience in one of the following but not limited to: Python, Go, Ruby, or Bash
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, and ability to be versatile in a fast-paced startup environment
Bonus Points:
- You are a graduate with a BS/MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Expertise in architecting and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems
- Experience with UNIX systems and solid scripting skills
- Knowledge of configuration management systems (i.e. Chef, Puppet, Salt, Ansible)
- Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks (i.e. Kubernetes, Hadoop, Spark)
- Experience with major cloud platforms (i.e. Google Cloud, AWS, Azure, etc.)
