Position Overview
We are looking for a highly analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset for this role. As the Senior Manager/Director of Content Marketing, you will build the content marketing program for Ambient.ai. This role oversees all content marketing initiatives, both internal and external, across multiple platforms and formats to drive sales, engagement, retention, leads, and customer loyalty. This includes building our content calendar, creating a content development process and delivery strategy, managing content producers (writers, video production, animations, etc), producing social media posts, and ultimately, crafting interesting and well-researched content that drives traffic and engages site visitors. This role reports directly to the Head of Marketing at Ambient.ai. The ideal candidate will enjoy the art of storytelling through multiple mediums, embody Ambient.ai’s company values, thrive in a high growth environment, be creative, pay strong attention to detail, embrace data-driven decision making and have the passion to deliver programs that drive the growth and health of our business.Responsibilities - Create compelling narratives across various types of content written and visual, such as interactive websites, videos, whitepapers, guides, blogs, etc.
- Ensure that all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice; optimized for search and customer experience for all channels of content (online, social media, email, video, print, and in-person) for each buyer persona.
- Build and maintain an editorial calendar informed by the latest AI and physical security industry trends and customer challenges in order to maximize the impact of our content.
- Serve as an exemplary writer, consistent with our company’s tone and mission. You write copy that is clean, concise, and well-polished.
- Edit content produced by our team, including conceptualizing the projects upfront, assigning projects, and overseeing development and copy-editing prior to publishing.
- Interact with subject matter experts, content specialists, graphic designers, and internal team members to create and review all content amp; ensure a consistent message.
- Continuously measure and improve content performance; ensure that site performance analysis, SEO tactics, and media insights are continuously used to optimize content development.
Qualifications - 10+ years experience working in technology content or journalism, preferably B2B software creating high-quality content in the form of articles, blogs, landing pages, ebooks, case studies, and more.
- Excellent writing, editing, and narrative development skills; graphic design capabilities are a plus.
- Editorial mindset that seeks to understand what audiences consume and how to create it.
- Proven experience developing content that not only engages the online reader but is also effective for driving SEO to reach new audience members and increase website traffic.
- Motivated self-starter, organized, and articulate, with impeccable attention to detail.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and being able to multitask on a variety of different projects
- Your Portfolio demonstrates strength in storytelling and a variety of brand, corporate, and thought leadership topics.
- Bachelor’s required. Ideally in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline.
