POSITION: Deputy Director of Operations (DDO) RESPONSIBLE TO: Director of Operations (DO) RANGE: $80,700.00- $99,850.0037.5 hrs Full Time 70% Remote 30% on Site on Average Schedule: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, on call on weekends in case of emergency
SUMMARY: This position partners closely with the Director of Health Center Operations working as a strategic thought-partner to achieve high-performing health center operations. The Deputy Director is a skilled talent manager, overseeing a Centralized Operational Support (COS) program with 3 direct reports who manage over 50 employees of that program. The COS program consists of a Training Pod of non-licensed health center assistants (HCA) for Colorado’s Front Range, onboarding and scheduling 12-18 new hires, a Travel team of ~20 HCAs, nurses, and advanced practice clinicians (APN), and the flexible PRN team of ~20 HCAs, nurses and APNs without set schedules who fill in as needed. Overseeing the creation and management of a centralized scheduling system is a key component of the COS program as is ensuring ~22 health centers are able to fill temporary gaps in staffing through flexible and smart scheduling solutions. The DDO supports the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) across the health center system by providing direct coaching and intervention on KPI strategy and performance improvement for Regional Operations Managers (ROM) and Health Center Managers (HCM). This position also serves as the primary substitute for ROMs, stepping in for any extended ROM absence to oversee their region. This position is salary, exempt.The ideal candidate demonstrates dedication to the patients we serve and enables our teams to deliver excellent care. The Deputy Director develops tracking and reporting processes and tools and creates information flows. They will manage the recruiting, onboarding, performance management and professional development of their teams.
