Your Impact
As Aviva’s Senior Full Stack Engineer, among other applications you will be leading the development of the first phygital, video-based onboarding experience for credit products in Mexico.
Building this application is critical to our mission of providing low-barrier access to quality financial services to those who remain excluded by the policies of traditional banks.
Reports to
Co-Founder, Engineering Lead
- Understand our products' specifications and develop new features.
- Write high-performance code designed for large-scale deployment.
- Maintain the highest level of quality of our code.
- Assist in the resolution of platform bugs.
- Influence and mentor junior engineers to ship high-performance code.
- Develop and deploy APIs and back-end services.
- Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications
- Improve engineering best practices of your team.
- Ensure integrity and security of your microservices.
Requirements
- 5+ years proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Experience developing scalable web applications.
- Familiarity with common stacks, OOP, Microservices.
- Knowledge of ReactJS and Javascript/Typescript.
- Experienced in C# language.
- Familiarity with databases (MongoDB and SQL Server).
- Nor Required but desirable: Cloud development with Azure or AWS.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Great attention to detail.
- Organizational skills.
- An analytical mind.
- Degree in Computer Science, Statistics or relevant field.

Aviva’s physical onboarding kiosks build a bridge to those living in remote communities and provide a documentless 3-minute video onboarding for everyone in need of liquidity.
