About The Role:
WePay is seeking an Integration Engineer to join our Partner Experience team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a very progressive division of J.P. Morgan’s Merchant Services business. The Integration engineer will operate as a client-facing, technical resource supporting our client integration efforts worldwide.
In this impactful role you will be responsible for working with and guiding WePay’s enterprise and strategic customers toward the successful integration of WePay’s products and services. You will partner very closely with our Implementation Managers to develop deep customer relationships with large, strategic accounts. You will be the main point of contact for all customer technical questions, provide assistance for their integrations with WePay, as well as represent their needs back to customer delight, product management, engineering, and sales.
The ideal Integration Engineer will have a strong technical aptitude along with a self-starting, proactive mentality. You will be dealing with very technical users and complex issues. The right individual will have a proven track record of managing through complex challenges and providing custom solutions employing RESTful APIs. What You Will Do:
  • Advise customers on the successful implementation of use cases leveraging demonstrated technical expertise in WePay products including APIs, Partner and Merchant Interfaces, and POS offerings.
  • Validate customer integration, ensuring adherence to compliance requirements.
  • Understand the platform and payments ecosystem to identify problems and generate creative solutions for our clients.
  • Act as a thought leader, advocating for client needs and articulating concepts in a well-thought out manner to internal leadership.
  • Document best practices and share other tools and resources to help customers successfully integrate WePay.
  • Communicate task level details in summary form to partner and internal executives.
  • Recognize and escalate issues to drive product enhancements based on our clients’ needs.
  • Collaborate with other departments in the company to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve customer issues in a timely fashion.

What We Are Looking For:
  • 5+ years experience working as a professional services consultant, customer success engineer, technical account manager or sales engineer.
  • Understanding of the web technology stack and experience working with: JSON, SQL, Curl, relational databases, modern web technology, modern programming languages/frameworks.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs and certifying completed efforts.
  • Experience in the payment ecosystem and card present capabilities is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience engaging and speaking eloquently to both technical and business audiences.
  • An innovative, creative and forward- thinker; able to generate new ideas and be a thought leader.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree/ industry experience.
