Senior QA Engineer (Remote)

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) engineer to develop and execute exploratory tests to ensure product quality. QA engineer responsibilities include designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. You will also review system requirements and track quality assurance metrics

Day to day

• Validate product quality throughout the development process, from user stories to production deployment.
• Review stories for acceptance criteria evaluation, or raise the lack of them (functional requirements and system behavior).
• Logging bugs, cataloging them according to criticality.
• Work together with the development team in the reproduction and clarification of the problems encountered.
• Provide constant feedback to improve the quality of the product through good communication.
• Work on test documentation: test plans, test cases, checklists, bug reports, test reports.
• Perform analysis, design and execution of functional test cases.
• Participate in automation testing of software components.
• Promote and develop QA best practices.

Requirements

What You Bring to the Team

• 2+ years of experience in analysis, design and execution of functional and non-functional test cases for both integration or system testing.
• Experience in software testing for web browsers, mobile devices, APIs and databases.
• Knowledge and experience in testing tools.
• Detection and follow-up on bug fixes and/or improvements.
• Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge in SQL queries.
• Familiarity with the Startup and/or FinTech ecosystem.
• Strong analytical skills, creative and critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Postman for API testing
• ISTQB certificate or similar
• Professional English level
