The Medical Account Executive role is a unique opportunity for the right professional to assume the responsibility of being the liaison between Rockpoint, surgical facilities, hospitals, doctors, and patients. You will coordinate billing, scheduling and processing requests related to Rockpoint’s Medical funding offerings. The Medical Account Executive actively manages anywhere from 70-120 cases and ensures they are being processed efficiently while providing exceptional service to patients and medical providers.
Responsibilities:
- Obtaining case information and process requests by working directly with medical providers, and personal injury case managers or attorneys.
- Coordinating with various medical providers and stakeholders, all documentation necessary prior and post to a medical procedure, including following up on scheduling, recommendations, billing, reports in a timely manner.
- Assisting in preparing and coordinating the execution of various contracts needed for a procedure.
- Working with medical facilities to obtain billing information for timely payment.
- Monitoring and staying informed of all active and pending medical applications. Keeping applications moving continuously.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate notes on medical applications.
- Accurately entering payment information and processing funding.
- Managing incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails regarding surgeries and other procedures.
- Cross-selling products and services, based on customer needs.
- Performs additional duties as assigned
Requirements

- Ability to read between the lines and ask the right questions, and anticipate customer and medical providers' needs.
- Extremely detail-oriented, organized, and strong ability to multi-task

- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision, while prioritizing with strong time management skills
- Sensitivity and high discretion with PHI and compliance with HIPPA standards
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening and writing)
- Intermediate to advanced computer and data entry skills, with consistent high accuracy (Google suite included)
- 3+ years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in the legal field and knowledge of personal injury law and medical terminology
- Fluent English speaker (C1 -C2)
