We help companies address IT talent by building dedicated software development teams either locally in the USA / Canada / Mexico or in our Ramp;D centers in Ukraine.
A bit about the project / client
We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer who will be responsible for designing and creating intuitive, user-centered designs for our products. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. The team is distributed in the US and LatAm; with the Product team and CTO from the client in the US.
Responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
- Work with cross-functional teams to define and develop user-centered design solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.
- Develop wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts.
- Create high-fidelity designs and work with front-end developers to ensure that designs are implemented to specifications.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design decisions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and apply them to design work.
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Brainstorm and prototype concepts, specify designs according to use cases, and iterate designs based on feedback and data.
- Own process that takes designs from ideation to implementation
- Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, or related field.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in UX/UI Design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating experience with end-to-end design process, from wireframes to full-fidelity designs.
- Strong proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of projects.
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
- Be an advocate of customers throughout the design and development of products.
- Ability to meet ambitious deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule.
- Work with a sense of empathy for others, both end-users, and your fellow coworkers
- Flexible and open to change and new information
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Fluency in Spanish
- Experience working remotely within a US timezone.
